Hello Fellow Whitman Members. I hope everyone had a good weekend.
Great News The Technician class has concluded and the VE session was last
Thursday with 2 new Techs and an upgrade to General. The other folks that
took the class need a little more time.
There will be an Elmer session soon as well to help the new and any folks
needing some help. We will notify you when and where it will take place.
Thank you again Ross and the training crew and Jeff N1SOM for leading the
VE Session.

1. This is a reminder that this Wed night at 7:30PM will be the April Mid
month MOTA on the WA1NPO Repeater 147.225 PL 67.0 Remember we cannot vote
on any items or spend money but we can discuss items related to the club
and Amateur Radio. �� This meeting will be followed by the weekly 10 Meter
net on 28.333Mhz about 8PM.

2. Elections: We are looking for folks to step up to run for the
President, Treasurer and Secretary positions. Please send your nominations
in by email ASAP. We have 1 Board of Directors position available and
Loren N1IQI has graciously accepted to run again for another term. Thank
you.

3. Near-Fest 2026. Fri May 1st - Sat May 2nd Here is a link to the event
as well. Hopefully we will have a table there as well.

4. South Shore Food Bank Road Race @ Wompatuck State Park June 12th also
called:
South Shore Food Bank Inaugural Fresh Bite 5K and Citrus Stroll
Volunteers are needed. Please contact Jeff Ayres WK1D. Here is a link to

This is a fun event to volunteer at. You will be able to use your Amatuer
Radio skills to help with directions and any problems that might arise.
Volunteers will be stationed along the route to call in bib numbers and if

5. Sad News. Many of you know that Loren N1IQI's wife passed away
recently. Our sincerest condolences to Loren and his family. Here is the
