Thanks to all who participated in the ARES Simulated Emergency test 
drill last Saturday 9 November on the .18 repeater.  In an actual severe 
weather event with lengthy power outages, useful situational awareness 
reports could be provided from our area.  The net reports were passed 
along to the ARES SEC Rob Macedo.  This is an extract from his 
acknowledgement:
